While this is fine on the Kindle Fire models HD 8 and HD 10 some of the text becomes almost unreadable on the lower resolution Kindle Fire 7. you get a beautifully laid out full colour document, but of a fixed size. While this permits the reproduction of the printed book format (which is essential, given the typographic nature of the subject at hand), it means that the usual text resizing features of the more conventional Kindle format are not available. The only failing in the Kindle version of the book is that it is produced in a fixed text format (think Adobe PDF format). I have already learned much on a preliminary first read through.I expect to learn much more over the next month or so. It not only tells you how to use the application but also gives much insight into the art of Publishing and Typesetting. As usual for Mr Turner's books on QuarkXpress, the content of this publication is excellent.
